The tale is set in Restoration Year 107. Humanoid meteorite disposal heavy machines -iDOLs- protect the Earth from falling fragments of the moon called Drops. And the only ones who can control the iDOLs are specially chosen girls -- Idolmasters. Their mission, besides going to school every day, is to pilot their iDOLs, and shatter the meteorites falling to the Earth outside the atmosphere. The giant steel robots and the girls have spun a brand new tale, and now the curtain is lifting!!
